Seiko Custom Mod Diver's Skx / Srp Soxa Doxa Homage

Stunning Seiko SKX SRP NH36 SOXA - DOXA Homage. The SRP and SKX are Seiko's much loved ubiquitous automatic diver. These watches can trace its roots back over 40 years back through the 7002, 6309 and 6105 lines. If a watch ever punched above its weight, then in my eyes at least, this is certainly it. This particular piece has then been further enhanced with a few subtle modifications to pay homage to a much more expensive watches.

This SKX011 base watch has been stripped and upgraded beyond recognition, with the aim of recreating a homage to Doxas 60 line of highly regarded divers. Modifications include a recase in an Seiko Turtle style dial, a Seiko NH36 hacking and hand winding mechanism with English / Kanji day wheels, DOXA 300 style hands, Sapphire Crystal with blue anti reflective coating and a stainless DOXA style insert fitted inside a similar styled bezel. This is all finished of with a very hefty Beads Of Rice with Genuine Seiko Buckle. It's a very good addition to any collection and an absolutely stunning watch to look at.

This is a sizeable watch with a very good weight and presence on the wrist that looks at home with both smart and casual attire. A lovely addition to any Seiko collection.
