Wire rope, also called wire cable, is an assembly of wire strands formed hectically around a central core. The flexible construction includes 7 strands and 19 wires per strand in stainless steel, resulting in a small diameter stainless steel wire rope that is both flexible and offers superior resistance to corrosion. The cable breaking strength for wire rope is the strength at which new wire rope will fail under a stationary load. Cable breaking strength is not considered safe working load (SWL) limit.
Note: cable breaking strength ratings are listed for comparison purposes only. Actual operating loads may vary, but should not exceed the recommended design factor of 20% of the products cable breaking strength Not designed for overhead lifting or aircraft use; never exceed working load limit. Both Ends of the Cable Wire are Loop. One End of the Cable Wire are Looped. Custom Cut to Order 75 feet - 300 feet.7 x 19 Stranded Construction. Cable breaking strength: 920 lbs. Use working load limit instead.

Consultation of an independent engineer or other qualified persons for your usage is highly recommended.Breaking strength provided for wire rope are approximate only. Information on wire rope should only be used as a guide; information may vary according to manufacturing specifications, and usage applications. Check tensile strength (Grade) and MBS (Minimum Breaking Strain) at time of order and receiving of the order to confirm appropriateness of information, and before product usage or application.
Additional sizes of wire rope of commercial rigging fittings and sleeves are not rated and must not be used for any tensioning, suspension, load-bearing/lifting applications, or other purposes subject to control by statutory requirements. Rigging screws are batch tested only.
Lifting applications require an individual certificate of proof test to be supplied by qualified professional and or organization for your specific usage applications. Hardware chain and braided cables of commercial quality is suitable for general use only. Not suitable for lifting, suspension, under load, or any application subject to control by statutory authorities/requirements.
