You must return the product and leather sheath if any. If handles are pulled apart, then we will replace the product. Our product has handmade qualities and unique characteristics. HOW OUR DAMASCUS STEEL IS MADE.

Our Damascus steel is real and is not just acid etching. Our Damascus steel is a blend of 1095HC or 1084HC and 15N20 nickel and carbon alloy. We forged them together and then we fold them again and again to have the layers we want, usually they are 512 layers or 352 layers. Then we burn the empty blade in acid, and it turns into nickel satin color and the high carbon turns into black gray.

This is how the layers are exposed. All Damascus steel is acid etched to show the layers. When you polish the metal, it will be like all other steels with a shiny satin. Only after firing the sides of the blade with acid, you will see the layers of both. After manufacturing, we polish the handles and put a sharp edge on the blade.

The highly polished wheel buffers the acid burned layer from the handle. The blade is sharpened and the acid burned edge is satin finished. You can re-burn the tang of the blade near the handles and edge of the blade and they show the layers once again, but also removes the highly polished wax. Leather sheaths absorb moisture from the air and tend to rustle blades if not stored properly. When you are finished with the blade, place it on the leather sheath and put gun oil, coconut oil, WD-40 or similar protective coating on the blade and store. Damascus steel, 1095HC, 1084HC and D2 can rust quickly if not properly lubricated. You must be 18 years old to order pocket knives. The knife must only be used in a lawful manner for self-defense.
